Cackalacky’s Spiced Barbecue Ice Cream (As Seen In The Washington Post!)

 

 

Cackalacky Spiced Barbecue Ice Cream

This outlandishly fun and tasty recipe has been featured on TV and
in newspapers around the world!

Note: You will need an ice cream maker for this recipe.

Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups half-and-half
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
Pinch ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. Liquid Smoke®
3/4 cup finely chopped barbecue pork
(You can substitute pre-cooked bacon pieces)
Pinch ground cinnamon
Dash kosher salt
Cackalacky® Spice Sauce for topping
Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients together in a blender and
mix until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and
follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Serve scoops of Barbecue Ice Cream in bowls topped
with Cackalacky® Spice Sauce
and garnished with a sprig of fresh mint.
